Welcome to Mattishall Golf Club
Mattishall Golf Club, located between Dereham and Norwich provides a 9-hole course that challenges experienced players, but is also a great course for those new to the game.
The Par 35 course with a distance of 3,009 yards can also be played as an 18-hole course, Par 70 and 6,170 yards. Our PGA golf professional, Tony Varney is on-hand to provide expert tuition on the course or at our driving range.
The newly refurbished clubhouse, provides changing facilities, along with licensed lounge bar serving hot and cold drinks and snacks. The sun terrace overlooking the course provides an ideal environment to relax after your round.

“Lovely friendly 9 hole course. If you are playing alone you will always find a partner to play with. Not an easy course to play as it has very tight fairways. You will never master the course as it changes during an 18 hole game so much you might think you are playing on an 18 hole course. Since the new owners took over the course has improved no end, and the work continues daily. The clubhouse has new changing rooms and bar area and a relaxing patio area to enjoy your end of round drink.”
“Mattishall golf club has been given a completely new lease of life, and the improvements are fantastic. Now that the nicer weather has arrived, the new full time green keeper is doing a really great job on the course, a lot of effort is going in to making the course the best it can be. The newly renovated clubhouse and facilities, make such a big difference, with a nice fresh modern and welcoming appearance. It’s clear to see that Mattishall Golf Club is very much a labour of love for all that are involved, and in the fullness of time, the devotion to making it a success will make it one of the gems on the Norfolk golfing map.”
